Rue de Martyrs, print
This print is based on my drawing, Rue de Martyrs. This Parisian memory captured the true eccense of ornate architecture throughout the city of Paris. Sharing this memory with my sister, this was the first time and first day we were in Paris and it did not disappoint. We were enamored and blown away that we had the opportunity to see the city and all of its glory in real like, and for the two of us we were happily pleased by its beauty. This building in Montmartre sat on a street below the Sacré-Cœur Basilica and it completely drew me in. While walking around we saw so many artists and musicians as well as locals just taking in the beautiful everyday Paris has to offer. When drawing this I used as many highlights and shadows to create the cream nature of the building, as well as the grey blues that accompany a lot of Parisian architecture. This print is the perfect window to take you right into the heart of Paris, while hanging in your home. Printed on the highest quality archival matte giclee paper.
